Praia da Empa's rocky shore
Found across a camping site, this small beach is part of Ericeira’s protected World Surfing Reserve, so there are no facilities or even a lifeguard stand (only portable bathrooms during the bathing season). It’s a rather wild beach, with large tidal pools at low tide.

How to Get to Praia da Empa
Praia da Empa is found to the north of the center of Ericeira (about a 20-to-25-minute walk away), across the road from the camping site. You’ll see a sign pointing in its direction. For its exact location, see the Ericeira beaches map.
